Virginia almost knocked off #5 Louisville last week. But a Lamar Jackson throw late in the fourth quarter erased any hope of that. It was a game that immediately drew comparisons to the Virginia vs. Notre Dame game last year as both games ended in similar heart-wrenching fashion.
This week, the Cavaliers will head to Winston-Salem to face off against the Demon Deacons. You might not know but Wake Forest is likely going to a bowl game this year, as they currently sit on a 5-3 record. They had a surprising 5-1 start to the season before subsequently losing to Florida State and Army the last two weeks.
With only four more games on the schedule, the Hoos will look to pick up at least one more win. Can Virginia beat Demon Deacons this week (the STL staff might think so)? Let’s break it down in THE COLUMN:
