2016 ACC Tournament Championship Finals Updated Bracket

This is it!

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Only one game remain as the top two teams of the conference go head to head for the ACC Championship! No. 7 North Carolina and No. 4 Virginia have led the ACC atop the polls for most of the season, so it's only fitting that the two teams, seeded first and second in the tournament, respectively, have each advanced to the finals.

North Carolina looked completely in control in the first semifinal game on Friday night, dispatching a Notre Dame team that never got its feet on the ground. The Tar Heels advanced to the finals after a convincing 78-47 victory over the Irish.

Though Virginia led 11th-ranked Miami from wire to wire, the Hurricanes staged a late comeback effort, pulling to within three points in the final few minutes of the game. The Hoos though, in front of a largely home court environment, were able to hang on for a 73-68 win, continuing to bolster their bid for an NCAA 1-seed.

The Heels and the Hoos face off tonight at 9:00 p.m., and the game will be televised on ESPN.
