Kyle Guy

Just like they do for Malcolm Brogdon, post-season awards continue to roll in for future Hoo Kyle Guy. The shooting guard from Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis was named Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Indiana.

Guy has averaged better than 20 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists for the Bears, who reached their sectional final. He is also a finalist for Indiana Mr. Basketball.

Previous Indiana Gatorade Players of the Year include Shawn Kemp, Glen Robinson, Greg Oden, and both Tyler and Cody Zeller. Current NCAA players to have won the award include Zak Irvin of Michigan and Caleb Swanigan of Purdue.
