The Virginia Cavaliers might have the day off, but we fans don't. Miami heads up to South Bend in its first of two road games to close out the season, and Notre Dame begins a two-game home stand.

The ramifications of this game for Virginia's quest for a third straight ACC regular season title are hard to overstate.

A Miami win all but closes the door for the Hoos. It would put the Canes at 13 conference wins, and Virginia's fate would lie in the hands of the Virginia Tech Hokies. A Notre Dame win clinches nothing but keeps that door propped open—if it's followed by a Virginia win and a North Carolina loss on Saturday, the Hoos will hold the #1 seed for the ACC Tournament.
