Malcolm Brogdon got all the biggest cheers when Virginia's seniors were announced at JPJ. But the crowd saved something to celebrate Evan Nolte, who hit two straight attempts from three and sparked a hot first half for UVa. The Hoos hold a 12-point lead at the half, 29 to 17.

Anthony Gill put in work in the low post, putting up 13 points to lead Virginia's scoring. Mike Tobey joined the senior night action, leading the way for the Hoos on the boards with 11. Brogdon had a relatively quiet first half, scoring only 4.

Ray Spalding leads Louisville's scoring with 4 points.

Virginia led for the entirety from the first half from their first points at 17:56. The Cardinals didn't score until more than five minutes into the game, hitting a free throw at 14:46 to close Virginia's lead to 10-1.

Tony Bennett changed the starting lineup, swapping in Nolte and Tobey for Devon Hall and Isaiah Wilkins.
