Add another one to Malcolm Brogdon's growing list of 2015-16 accolades: Virginia's senior guard has been named a first-team All-American by Sporting News.

Just like his ACC Player of the Year award, Brogdon's first-team All-American selection is the first for a Virginia player since Ralph Sampson.

Brogdon is joined on the first team by Oklahoma's Buddy Hield, Utah's Jakob Poeltl, Kentucky's Tyler Ulis, and Michigan State's Denzel Valentine.
Earlier this week, Brogdon was named the District III Player of the Year by the U.S. Basketball Writers' Association. The USBWA also selects the winner of the Oscar Robertson Trophy, for which Brogdon is a finalist.
Duke's Grayson Allen and UNC's Brice Johnson were also selected by Sporting News as second- and third-team All-Americans, respectively.
