Daniel Pinero homered and went 3-4 at the plate, driving in 2 runs and scoring 2 runs, to lead Virginia to a 7-3 victory over the No. 1 Hurricanes on Sunday. The win gave the No. 22 Cavaliers the series victory. Zack Collins delivered a home run and 2 RBI for the Hurricanes who drop their first ACC series of the season.

The defending national champions Virginia Baseball team won another road series today by taking down No. 1-ranked Miami, handing the Hurricanes their first ACC series loss of the season. Virginia did so in impressive fashion, including adding a couple insurance runs in the top of the ninth.
