Although the 2015-2016 basketball season is not officially over yet, it is never too soon to look forward at next season.
The Hoos are set to play in the Emerald Coast Classic November 25-26 in Destin, Florida. Other teams involved include Memphis, Iowa, and Providence.
CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein broke news of Virginia's first opponent in the Classic via Twitter.
Memphis will play Providence and Iowa will play Virginia in the first round of the 2016 Emerald Coast Classic, sources told @CBSSports.

If both Virginia and Memphis win, it could make for an interesting matchup as the Hoos will likely be starting former Memphis forward Austin Nichols, whose transfer to UVA was made more difficult by the Tigers.
The Wahoos are on a win streak when it comes to early season tournaments, having won the Corpus Christi Challenge in 2013, the Barclays Classic in 2014, and the Charleston Classic in 2015.
