I enjoy playing tennis recreationally. By no means would I say I play at a competitive level by any stretch. So, I consider myself not to be an expert when it comes to the technical aspects of the tennis game.
But I'm pretty sure that this is not how it works.
Oklahoma's Andre Biro should be commended for stepping into the throw, following through, and keeping his head up throughout the movement. I don't want to take that away from him. I suspect that during the offseason, he may want to work with his coaches on things like, tennis, and finding the tennis ball.
Down a set, Biro went from being up 3-0 in the second set over Virginia's Henrik Wiersholm on Court #6, and even having a set point opportunity at 5-3, before collapsing and ultimately losing in the tiebreak 7-6 (3). Wiersholm's win clinched the third NCAA championship for Virginia in four years.
