The quarterback carousel of the NCAA giveth and it taketh away...

Shortly off the heels of an incoming transfer QB commit in Kurt Benkert, UVa fans learned this morning that RS freshman QB Nick Johns will be leaving the program. Johns came to UVa from Gonzaga Prep as a highly touted recruit for Mike London, but quickly picked up a DUI charge in his first summer on grounds, forcing him to sit out of training camp as punishment. He'll have plenty of opportunity to wipe the slate clean and build a career elsewhere as he's got four years of playing eligibility remaining.

The Hoos have plenty of upperclassmen QB talent remaining on the roster in Matt Johns, Connor Brewer, and Kurt Benkert. Bronco's staff also have two incoming first year QBs in Sonny Abramson and Devante Cross set to join the team in the fall as well as 2017 future-Hoo commit Lindell Stone.
