There will be plenty more chances for more Cavalier medals. The U.S. women’s soccer team, featuring Becky Sauerbrunn and Morgan Brian, won its group and begins knockout play against Sweden on Friday (12:00 PM Eastern). U.S. women’s field hockey is tied for first in its preliminary group. And Leah Smith has a chance for another individual medal with the 800 meter freestyle events Thursday and Friday.
