Virginia is in the College Football Playoffs! Sort of. The organization announced today that former captain Rijo Walker will be joining their staff as the Team Operations Coordinator.

Walker, who played as free safety for the Cavaliers from 2010-2013, becomes at least the second Virginia graduate to join the College Football Playoff staff. Allison Doughty, a history major at Virginia and daughter of the renowned Doug Doughty of the Roanoke Times, currently serves as Director of Events and Hospitality Services after seven years of working for the ACC.
Walker was a sociology major at Virginia. He returned to Charlottesville to receive his Masters in Education from Curry in 2016.
