Some University of Virginia football fans got a big surprise when, instead of the UPS delivery guy, members of the team showed up on their doorstep with their season tickets. The practice isn’t new by any means on Grounds, but in the first season under new head coach Bronco Mendenhall and Co., the excitement around the team is palpable.
Players like Quin Blanding, Matt Johns, Doni Dowling, Jackson Mateo, and Mark Hall took to the streets of Charlottesville to hand-deliver the tickets, and the reactions were fantastic. The team posed for pictures and even signed some driveway chalk autographs.

Check out video of the trip, courtesy of the incomparable VirginiaSportsTV. The dog sprinting through the yard at the 35-second mark is fantastic.
The Mendenhall Era begins Saturday, 3 September, at Scott Stadium at 3:30pm against Richmond.
