The outside linebacker out of The Avalon School in Gaithersburg, MD Noah Taylor committed to the University of Virginia class of 2018 Saturday afternoon, he announced via Twitter. Rated a three-star by both Rivals and 247Sports, Taylor held offers from both Virginia and Pitt.

In an interview with Scout earlier this summer, Taylor complimented Virginia’s defense and the new coaching staff, noting in particular the staff’s ability to put people in the NFL.

Here’s Taylor’s 2015 highlights. The 6’4”, 180 lb. linebacker can be quick off the outside and can put pressure on the passer as well as stop the run.

He attended one of the Rivals Camps over the summer, where he was tagged for making a top-10 play among linebackers (No. 8).
