Senior cornerback Tim Harris tweeted Wednesday night that he will be having surgery Thursday morning.
Time to get this surgery in the AM

Harris played in the Richmond and Oregon games but did not play in last week’s loss at Connecticut. He has been dealing with a reported injury to his left shoulder. (Coach Mendenhall has said he will not discuss injuries or release an injury report until the start of conference play.) While it’s unclear whether the surgery will officially end Harris’s 2016 season, undoubtedly Juan Thornhill, Myles Robinson, and newfound sensation Kareem Gibson will be asked to step into larger roles.
On a personal note, as someone who has dealt with shoulder surgeries more often than he would have liked to, best of luck to Tim and good wishes for a full and speedy recovery.
