THE COLUMN: Virginia vs. Central Michigan Complete Preview

Hoos are back at home.

Yeah . . . so.

Not to beat a dead horse, but 0-3 was not how Virginia fans envisioned the start of the season. Even less so, is that the Central Michigan Chippewas are favored against the Hoos at Scott Stadium. The Chips roll into Charlottesville unbeaten, after knocking off Oklahoma State just two weeks ago. This team is obviously not one to look over and the Hoos will really have to bring their all if they want to pick up their first win of the season.

With ACC play starting next week, it would be somewhat unimaginable that the Cavaliers don’t have a single win before then. Bronco Mendenhall’s team has shown promise in what is still a young season, but things really need to start clicking in order to win games. Can the Hoos start rolling and avoid being winless going into conference play?
