Each week we will be keeping tabs on the former Virginia Cavaliers now in the NFL. Here is how the Hoos in the NFL fared in Week 11:

Starters:

Rodney McLeod - Philadelphia Eagles - Safety – McLeod recorded his third interception of the year to go along with three tackles in Philadelphia’s 37-9 pounding of Dallas. It was the former UVA defensive back’s third straight game with an interception and here is a video of the pick.

Anthony Harris - Minnesota Vikings - Safety – “Ant” Harris had a huge game in the Vikings 24-7 win. The former UVA defensive back recorded seven tackles but his big contribution was forcing and recovering a fumble near the goal line. Here is the video of the key play.

Dontrelle InmanChicago Bears - Wide Receiver – The former UVA receiver had three catches for 43 yards for Chicago in his second game for the Bears.

Morgan Moses - Washington Redskins - Offensive Tackle –Moses started at right tackle for Washington in a 31-34 Redskins loss and even recovered a fumble that could have won the game for the Saints.

Luke Bowanko - Baltimore Ravens - Offensive Lineman – Bowanko started for the first time for the Ravens in Baltimore’s 23-0 win. It was the former UVA lineman’s first start since his rookie year with the Jaguars in 2014.

Maurice Canady - Baltimore Ravens - Cornerback – The former UVA defensive back got his first career start as a slot cornerback in the Ravens 23-0 win. Canady recorded his third career tackle in the game as well.

Oday Aboushi - Seattle Seahawks - Guard – Aboushi started at right guard for the Seahawks but left early with a shoulder injury.

Rotation players:

Ahmad Brooks - Green Bay Packers - Linebacker – The former UVA linebacker recorded two tackles in the Packers 0-23 loss.

Chris Long - Philadelphia Eagles - Defensive End – The former UVA legend recorded two tackles in the Eagles 37-9 win over the Cowboy’s but made more news during the week by appearing on the Ellen Show to discuss his charitable donations.

Eli Harold - San Francisco 49ers - Linebacker – The 49ers had a bye this week.

Backups:

Taquan Mizzell - Chicago Bears - Running Back – “Smoke” was inactive for the Bears this week. Maybe he will be traded to the Redskins who just lost their pass catching RB Chris Thompson?

Austin Pasztor - Atlanta Falcons - Offensive Lineman – The former UVA lineman was inactive for the Falcons this week.

Matt Schaub - Atlanta Falcons - Quarterback – Schaub did not see any action during Atlanta’s win this week.

Darius JenningsTennessee Titans - Wide Receiver – The former UVA reciever was inactive for the Titans this week.

Injured:

Eric Smith - Miami Dolphins - Offensive Tackle – The former UVA lineman was placed on injured reserve due to a knee injury.

Brent Urban - Baltimore Ravens - Defensive End - Urban suffered a Lisfranc foot sprain and was placed on the IR. It is a really tough break for the former UVA lineman as he was finally healthy and was in a contract year.

LaRoy Reynolds - Atlanta Falcons - Linebacker - Reynolds was placed on injured reserve due to a pectoral muscle injury suffered in the preseason.

Cedric Peerman - Cincinnati Bengals - Running Back - Peerman injured his shoulder in the preseason and was placed on the injured reserve, ending his season.

John Phillips - New Orleans Saints - Tight End - Phillips was placed on the injured reserve with an undisclosed injury.

Keeon Johnson - New York Giants - Wide Receiver - Johnson broke his foot in the preseason and was placed on the injured reserve.

Jake McGeePittsburgh Steelers – Tight End – The former UVA star tight end is currently on Pittsburgh’s practice squad.

Max VallesOakland Raiders – Linebacker - The former UVA star linebacker is currently on Oakland’s practice squad.

We will follow the progress of these former UVA stars throughout the season.
