Cavaliers Lose Another Recruit in 2018 Class

Just days QB commit Wyatt Rector re-opened his recruitment, the Virginia Cavaliers lost yet another member of their 2018 recruiting class.

On Monday, DL/OL recruit Emmett McNamara decommitted and opened his recruitment back up.

The 3* lineman committed to Bronco Mendenhall in July over numerous Ivy League offers, as well as an offer from UCF and Western Michigan.

The decommittment brings the Cavaliers’ 2018 class to just 18 recruits now, but there are rumors that a few could be coming on board in the coming weeks.
