Not done yet! Virginia Football added player number 19 - defensive lineman Samson Reed - to the #NewStandard18 class on the last day of the new early National Signing Day. Reed, a Hawaii native, is a perfect fit for Coach So’oto’s “Silverback” defense as he is explosive and strong. He will continue to add weight and physicality to his 6-3, 252 pound frame, but if his father is any indication, Reed will be a huge asset to the Hoos.
Finally got myself a Twitter account! Thanks for following me! #samoanstuntman pic.twitter.com/2hMVizdyEJ

Yes, that’s Tanoai Reed, Samson’s dad. He’s a stunt double for The Rock. Yes, that The Rock.
Reed held offers from USC, Washington State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Cal, and more.
