In a disappointing turn for Virginia football fans, Bethel’s Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah announced that he’ll be heading out of state for his college career.

The writing had been on the wall for a while, with Owusu-Koramoah backing off his original commitment to UVA and re-opening his recruitment in order to take further official visits. Both Michigan State and Notre Dame pushed hard for his services, with JOK showing both plenty of love on social media the past few weeks.
Ultimately the Fighting Irish won out, picking up a rangy, athletic defender in their class of 2017.
