What’s Happened
It’s been a busy morning for the UVA coaching staff. There was a flurry of faxes first thing in the morning, starting with Ryan Swoboda sending in his National Letter of Intent.

All 25 players who committed to Virginia before today have submitted their NLIs. You can find all of those profiles here on Streaking the Lawn.
Coach Mendenhall professed his love for Duck Donuts, the fuel that’s powering the McCue Center today.

In a slightly unexpected turn of events, Highland Springs offensive tackle Mekhi Becton chose Louisville over either Virginia or Virginia Tech. The Hoos and Hokies had been thought to be in the lead for his commitment.
What’s Next
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah will announce his decision at around 2 PM. Owusu-Koramoah had been committed to UVA, but re-opened his recruitment. The Hoos are battling Notre Dame and Michigan State.
The Hawaiian trio—Miki Suguturaga, Aliki Vimahi, and Mo Unutoa—should make their college plans known at some point this afternoon. Charlottesville is five hours ahead of Hawaii, so we may not hear from them until around 2 or 3.
Coach Mendenhall’s press conference will take place at 3:00. We’ll have a recap with quotes and video once that’s wrapped up.
