Cavaliers Fall in the Polls For Fourth Straight Week

TCU v Kansas Photo by Ed Zurga/Getty Images

Even though the losing streak ended, the Cavaliers’ drop in the polls continued this week after going 1-1 against Miami and North Carolina State last week. Going 2-0 against UNC and Pittsburgh would certainly help ease UVa fan’s tension, help in the standings for next week’s ACC Tournament, and give the Hoos a boost in March’s first polls next week.

Associate Press Poll
Kansas jumps Villanova for the top spot after Gonzaga’s Saturday loss. The Cavaliers fell 5 spots from No. 18 to No. 23 and come in just behind fellow #SlowBros Wisconins at No. 22. North Carolina jumped to the highest ranked ACC team after beating Louisville last week and rising to No. 5. That UNC-Louisville game also dropped Louisville to No. 8 from No. 7.
