Virginia bowed out of the New York Life ACC Tournament Thursday night, but the show went on anyway. Former UVA point guard Cory Alexander stopped by the New York Life BGAL Live studio for an interview this afternoon. Among the topics we discussed were:

  • Cory’s prediction for the ACC Tournament semifinals and finals.
  • Cory’s thoughts on NCAA tournament seeding for ACC teams.
  • Cory’s Final Four predictions.
  • Whether or not the ACC can produce a national champion this season.

You can watch the chat in its entirety here.

Off-camera, Cory and I talked about Virginia’s struggles against Notre Dame and the outlook for UVA in the NCAA tournament. Despite the loss, he remains optimistic about Virginia’s chances to do damage in the NCAA tournament.

John Cassillo from our sister Syracuse site joined us for the interview. With Syracuse being squarely on the bubble again, Cory, John, and I were able to relive the Cuse’s run to the Final Four last season. That was...not awesome.
