NCAA bracket 2017: Virginia is a No. 5 seed, will face No. 12 UNC-Wilmington

The NCAA Tournament field for 2017 has been announced, and the #5-seed Virginia Cavaliers will face #12-seed UNC-Wilmington in the first round.

UVa’s game will tip-off on Thursday, March 16, in Orlando.

Virginia finished the season 22-10 and 11-7 in the ACC. They enter the tournament with the nation’s #1 ranked defense according to KenPom.com.

UNC-Wilmington finished 29-5, winning the CAA tournament and earning an automatic bid.
