The brackets are set, the seeds have been announced, and your Virginia Cavaliers are already en route to the program’s first-ever national championship, probably. Virginia’s got a pretty tough road ahead of them — if seeds hold, the Hoos will be facing UNC Wilmington, Florida, Villanova and Duke, if they’re going to make the Final Four.
The Selection Committee released their complete seed list, ranked 1-68. We already know that Villanova is the top seed. Turns out the Hoos checked in as the overall No. 17, which means they were the highest among the five-seeds. Florida is ranked No. 14, making them the second-best four-seed.
