Ending the season on a three game winning streak was good enough to earn the Cavalier basketball team the 6 seed going into next week’s ACC Tournament.
The team got some individual recognition this afternoon as London Perrantes was named the Second Team All-ACC and Isaiah Wilkins was honored with Defensive All-ACC Team.
This is the fourth straight year for Perrantes being named to an All-ACC team. He was named on the All-ACC Honorable Mention for the 2015-16 and 2014-15 season and was on the All-ACC Freshman team in 2013-14. Perrantes finished the regular season averaging more than 32 minutes a game and lead the team in scoring with a 12.8 points per game average. Perrantes was joined on the Second team by Dwayne Bacon of FSU, Dennis Smith Jr. of N.C. State, Ben Lammers of GT, and Joel Berry II of UNC.
