Mother Nature didn’t cooperate much yesterday at the ACC baseball tournament, meaning that only Florida State and Notre Dame could start - let alone finish - their games. The Seminoles beat the Fighting Irish in 12 innings after outfielder Jackson Lueck hit a two-run, walk-off home run.
As a result of yesterday’s rain, the ACC Tournament will now have four games on each of today and tomorrow.

If fourth-seeded UVa beats No. 9 Duke on Thursday, they will win Pool D and advance to the semifinals and face the Pool A winner (likely North Carolina). The Cavaliers won the series in late March against the Blue Devils in Charlottesville with a pair of 13-6 wins after giving up the first game of that set, 19-3.
