The Cavaliers will kickoff the 2017 schedule like they have previous seasons against William and Mary. The two will play at 3:30 PM and streamed online through the ACC Network Extra.
Virginia will continue to be shown the following week on the ACC Network Extra stream the following weekend when Indiana comes to Charlottesville. That game will also kickoff at 3:30.
It won’t be until the third game of the season before the Hoos will be on TV. UCONN comes to Charlottesville on Sept. 16, with the game to be broadcast on ESPNU at Noon.
Although already known, or assumed, Virginia’s return trip to Boise State on Friday, Sept. 22 will be a primetime game at 8 PM Eastern and carried on either ESPN or ESPN2.
The Conference also announced this year’s ACC Championship Game, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 2, will be televised during primetime again at either 7:45 (ESPN) or 8:00 (ABC).
