Flags at half mast. A tearful rendition of Taps. Such are the sights and sounds of Wahoo nation this evening, as the Guy Bun is no more.

Kyle Guy’s coiffure drew the attention—and ill-spirited ire—of hoops fans around the ACC and the NCAA. Now, opposing fans will need to find something else to mock.

No definitive word on the bun’s transfer destination, though we’re hearing George Mason and Iowa State are both in the mix.
