We asked 100 people who the greatest Virginia basketball player of all time is. Survey says...none other than Ralph Sampson! And in June, Sampson went head to head against Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in possibly the greatest matchup of all time — Celebrity Family Feud!

The former 7-foot-4 Virginia Cavaliers center and his family defeated the Abdul-Jabbar family to advance to the Fast Money round, where fiance Patrice Ablack and son Ralph III absolutely dominated to win $25,000 for the University of Virginia Health Foundation. If you missed it, you can watch the entire Fast Money round here.
On Thursday afternoon, Sampson visited the UVA Cancer Center to present his winnings. Joining him were the likes of Craig Littlepage, Tony Bennett, and Barry Parkhill, among others. The donation was a meaningful and personal one for Sampson, whose father has battled prostate and lung cancer while at the UVA Cancer Center. His father, 81, is three and a half years in remission.
