LA Dodger Chris Taylor crushes leadoff inside-the-park home run against Phillies

Former UVA baseball star registers third-fastest time round the bases in 2017.

Chris Taylor is having himself a hell of a season with the Los Angeles Dodgers this year. Tonight (Monday), he led off against the Phillies in a pretty dramatic fashion:

Taylor destroyed the second pitch of the game, sending it off the top of the centerfield wall and out of reach of the outfielders. CT was on top of it from the get-go, hauling around the bases in under 16 seconds.

For the season, Taylor is batting .290 (good for 22nd in the National League) and has 138 hits and 67 RBI. The Dodgers have clinched a spot in the playoffs, and hold a 9.5 game lead over the NL West second place team (the Arizona Diamondbacks).

Nothing Chris Taylor will do in his MLB career will be as exciting as this clutch hit, which sent the Hoos back to the 2011 College World Series...
