Each week we will be keeping tabs on the former Virginia Cavaliers now in the NFL. Here is how the Hoos in the NFL fared in Week 2:

Starters:

Rodney McLeod - Philadelphia Eagles - Safety - McLeod recorded a tackle in the first quarter before injuring his hamstring in the Eagles loss. The former Hoo is questionable for Week 3 with a grade 1 hamstring strain.

Brent Urban - Baltimore Ravens - Defensive End - Urban recorded two tackles in the Ravens 24-10 win over the Browns. The former UVA star is a starter on a defensive unit that has only allowed 10 points in two games. The Baltimore Sun even did a feature article about him below:

Morgan Moses - Washington Redskins - Offensive Tackle – After struggling in Week 1, Moses and the Redskins bounced back for a 27-20 Washington win. Moses tweaked his sprained ankle and missed a couple snaps, but returned to the game.

Rotation players:

Chris Long - Philadelphia Eagles - Defensive End - The former UVA legend recorded his first sack for the Eagles in the 27-20 loss. Despite the stellar play Long only saw 20 defensive snaps of action. Here is a video of his sack:

Eli Harold - San Francisco 49ers - Linebacker – Harold only recorded one tackle as an outside linebacker for San Francisco in a 12-9 loss to the Seahawks. He only saw 28 plays on defense after only appearing in 30 last week, which makes him more of a rotation player at this point.

Dontrelle Inman - Los Angeles Chargers - Wide Receiver – After missing Week 1, the former UVA receiver made his season debut for the Chargers. However, Inman was not targeted in his 13 offensive snaps. Now healthy, hopefully he can try to follow up his stellar 80 yards performance last season.

Luke Bowanko - Baltimore Ravens - Offensive Lineman - Bowanko was again limited to only five special teams plays in the Ravens win.

Anthony Harris - Minnesota Vikings - Safety - “Ant” was in on 20 special teams plays in the 26-9 Vikings loss.

Backups:

Oday Aboushi - Seattle Seahawks - Guard - Aboushi did not see any action in the Seattle win.

Matt Schaub - Atlanta Falcons - Quarterback - Schaub did not see any action in the Atlanta win on Sunday night.

Taquan Mizzell - Chicago Bears - Running Back - Smoke was active in the Chicago loss but did not see any playing time. The Bears starting running back Jordan Howard is struggling through a shoulder injury, so there is a chance Mizzell will finally see some action next week.

Eric Smith - Miami Dolphins - Offensive Tackle – The former UVA lineman was listed as inactive in the Dolphins win. There was no reason given for his absence.

Injured:

Ahmad Brooks - Green Bay Packers - Linebacker – The fomer UVA star linebacker was inactive for the Packers in their Sunday Night loss. He is still recovering from a concussion he suffered in Week 1.

Austin Pasztor - Atlanta Falcons - Offensive Lineman - Pasztor was inactive for the second game in a row for the Falcons due to a pectoral injury.

Maurice Canady - Baltimore Ravens - Cornerback - Canady injured his knee early in training camp and was placed on the IR, but is eligible to return to the roster on week 9.

LaRoy Reynolds - Atlanta Falcons - Linebacker - Reynolds was placed on injured reserve due to a pectoral muscle injury suffered in the preseason.

Cedric Peerman - Cincinnati Bengals - Running Back - Peerman injured his shoulder in the preseason and was placed on the injured reserve, ending his season.

John Phillips - New Orleans Saints - Tight End - Phillips was placed on the injured reserve with an undisclosed injury.

Keeon Johnson - New York Giants - Wide Receiver - Johnson broke his foot in the preseason and was placed on the injured reserve.

We will follow the progress of these former UVA stars throughout the season.
