Luke Bowanko Traded to the Baltimore Ravens

The former Wahoo could find a starting place on the Baltimore line

Two time Streaking the Lawn podcast guest Luke Bowanko has been traded from the Jacksonville Jaguars to the Baltimore Ravens this morning. The former UVa standout has played three seasons for the Jags and could see immediate playing time in Baltimore, as they cut their starting center from last year this week as well. Bowanko was drafted in the sixth round by the Jags and started 14 games during his rookie year. Recently though, injuries have kept him on the sidelines, so hopefully the move leads to a rebound in playing time and improved health.

The switch in teams might be welcome news for Bowanko, as it greatly reduces his commute to Camden Yards. We’ll reach out to Luke soon for his feelings on the move as well as the Game of Thrones finale.

Stay tuned to Streaking the Lawn for hopefully other good football news later today!
