The Virginia Cavaliers are 19-1 on the season and an unblemished 8-0 in the ACC. Virginia overcame a back and forth first half against Clemson in their last outing to demoralize and demolish the Tigers, 61-36, but the road gets tougher as the Hoos have to take on No. 4 Duke at Cameron Indoor on Saturday. This is one of the best matchups of the season, not just because of ranked-on-ranked teams participating, but because Duke and Virginia play about as stylistically different as you can get.
In order to fully appreciate what Virginia is doing this season, we invited the Ringer’s Tate Frazier on the podcast to discuss all things UVA. Frazier, who is one of the hosts of One Shining Podcast (alongside friend of the podcast Mark Titus), talks about what he likes about this year’s squad, how far he thinks they can go, and answers some rapid-fire questions.
Give it a listen to find out who he thinks will win this weekend, which Virginia player would make the best wingman, and if he’d choose Jack Salt in a fight. Give Tate a follow on Twitter (@tatefrazier), and be sure to check out One Shining Podcast. It’s one of the best, if not THE best, places to go for college basketball discussion.
