If UVA can knock off Miami at home this weekend it would go a long way in helping their chances to compete for a division title. It also would not hurt if the teams ranked above them in the standings were to lose again (*cough* Tech *cough*).
#16 Miami Hurricanes at Virginia Cavaliers:
Since losing their opener to LSU, Miami has rattled off five wins in a row, including last week’s big comeback win over (surprising) lowly Florida State, 28-27. We’ll see if the extra week to prepare makes the difference as Coach Bronco Mendenhall and the Hoos look to pull off the upset and make a jump in the ACC Coastal ladder.

Virginia Tech Hokies at North Carolina Tar Heels:
After rebounding in week five against Duke, Notre Dame ran away from the Hokies in the second half last Saturday in Blacksburg, winning 45-23. Despite their 3-2 record, Tech remains undefeated in ACC play and expects to stay that way after facing a struggling North Carolina team this weekend.

Duke Blue Devils at Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets:
Despite their 4-1 record, Duke sits in dead last in the Coastal, having only played (and lost) to Virginia Tech two weeks ago. If they want to avoid the 0-2 start in conference play, the Blue Devils will have to figure out Paul Johnson’s triple option, which put up 66 points (!) on Louisville last Friday.
