Vote Kyle Guy for preseason player of the year (NCAA.com)

Voting opened yesterday afternoon for Andy Katz’s preseason player of the year. In the list, which ranks his top 16 men’s college basketball players heading into the 2018-19 season, junior guard Kyle Guy comes in at number seven. You can vote for Guy here, as he looks to advance past his first round matchup with Syracuse’s Tyus Battle.

ESPN included freshman nose tackle Jordan Redmond in their mid-season Freshman All-America team. Not a bad way to start your UVA career!

The offseason awards keep pouring in for men’s basketball’s Ty Jerome, as the Basketball Hall of Fame named him to the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Watch List. Jerome looks to improve upon the 10.6 points and 3.9 assists per game that he averaged last year.
