CB Bryce Hall keeps climbing the draft boards (The Draft Network)
Joe Marino of The Draft Network wrote about junior cornerback Bryce Hall’s so-far standout season following another impressive performance against Duke last weekend. On Hall, who leads the ACC in pass breakups this year, Marino said, “[He] has elevated his draft stock as much as any cornerback prospect in the nation.”
Virginia leads the way in ACC preseason rankings (Daily Press)
The Daily Press’s David Teel predicted that UVA would repeat as ACC Men’s Basketball regular-season champions yesterday, besting the likes of UNC, Duke, and Virginia Tech. If the Hoos were to claim yet another regular-season title in 2019, it would be their fourth in the last six years.
The Arizona Cardinals signed offensive tackle Oday Aboushi, who played for the Hoos from 2009-2012, on Tuesday. Aboushi had previously been with the Raiders before being released during training camp.
