Three college football games you should watch in Week Six

Bye Week? No problem!

NCAA Football: Connecticut at Virginia Amber Searls-USA TODAY Sports

Just because the Virginia Cavaliers are off this week doesn’t mean we shouldn’t pay attention to the rest of the ACC. Here are a few games that Hoos fans will want to tune in to:

Boston College Eagles at #23 N.C. State Wolfpack:

NC State entered the polls this week for the first time this season after besting UVA last weekend, 35-21. On Saturday, the Pack will have to deal with a BC team that has looked very solid at times and pretty lackluster at other times. Whether or not the Eagles’ star running back AJ Dillon plays - he is currently listed as a game time decision - will be a huge factor in the final score.

Florida State Seminoles at #17 Miami Hurricanes:

Miami ended Florida State’s winning streak in the rivalry at seven games last season, as Darrell Langham’s touchdown grab with six seconds left propelled the Hurricanes to victory. This year, the ‘Canes are projected to win big, currently sitting at 13.5 point favorites, but don’t be surprised if this one comes down to the wire again.

#24 Virginia Tech Hokies vs. #6 Notre Dame Fighting Irish:

The Hokies got back to their winning ways last weekend with a road victory at Duke. Up next? A Saturday night showdown with unbeaten Notre Dame. A victory over the Fighting Irish would sure go a long way in helping the Hokie faithful forget about week four’s ODU loss (but we certainly won’t).
