Detroit Lions’ linebacker and former Virginia Cavalier Eli Harold is a new father! Check out this adorable baby picture. The Lions traded for Harold in September, when his wife was eight months pregnant. Can you imagine moving your eight-month-pregnant wife from San Francisco to Detroit? Can you imagine being eight months pregnant and moving that distance?

Ron Counts of the Daily Progress gives a really good and entertaining midseason report card for the offense and special teams so far. Who plays well with others? Virginia’s Anna Redding named ACC Women’s Golfer of the Month (The ACC)
Thanks in no small part to Anna Redding, Virginia won the team championship at Michigan State’s Mary Fossum Invitational in the women’s golf team’s season opener. BOOM, take that, Michigan State! Redding tied for first place with a 9-under part 207, the first title of her career. Way to rock it, Anna!
USA Men Finish 1-1 On First Day of Youth Olympic Games (USA Basketball)
The USA Men’s 3x3 Youth Olympic Games Team finished Day 1 going 1-1, falling to Russia but defeating Mongolia. Why are we including this? Because Virginia commit Carson McCorkle led the team against Russia with seven points and dropped another seven for Team USA against Mongolia, including this free throw to seal the deal, which brings us to our
