We learned yesterday that this year’s clash between the Virginia and Virginia Tech football teams will start at 3:30 on November 23rd, and, in yesterday’s latest AP Poll, UVA men’s basketball jumped up to the fourth spot in the rankings.

The Virginia Cavaliers came in as the 10th overall seed in the Men’s Soccer NCAA Tournament field, which was announced yesterday afternoon. The team will host the winner of the UNC Wilmington and Furman match in the second round on Sunday.

After a tough offensive start to his junior season - unable to reach double digits in the opener against Towson - Kyle Guy awoke on Sunday afternoon versus George Washington, knocking in four threes and scoring twenty points overall. On his effort, Guy said, “I think I found my groove already.”

In Sunday night’s contest against the Denver Nuggets, Malcolm Brogdon gave his team the lead for good, knocking down a three with a little under two minutes to go to break the tie. Brogdon has scored 20 points or more in the last three games.
