There’s a new No. 1 in college basketball as Gonzaga climbed into the top spot thanks to their win over the now-No. 3 Duke Blue Devils in the Maui Invitational. The Zags leapfrogged Kansas at No. 2 to take the top spot. Kansas, now at 5-0 on the season, received 31 first place votes to Gonzaga’s 32.

Virginia (6-0) stayed at No. 4 after winning the Battle 4 Atlantis over now-No. 22 Wisconsin, which moved up three spots after losing to the Hoos. The ACC put five teams in the rankings this week with No. 11 North Carolina, No. 13 Virginia Tech, and No. 15 Florida State joining the Blue Devils and Cavaliers. Clemson fell out of the rankings this week.

Nevada jumped one spot to No. 5 this week with Tennessee, Michigan, Auburn, Michigan State, and Kentucky rounding out the Top 10.
