The Hoos place eight players across the three teams and honorable mention list.

The Virginia Football team was well represented in All-ACC honors this season with eight players being recognized for their performance over the course of the season. Wide Receiver Olamide Zaccheaus (81 receptions, 968 yards, six touchdowns) was Virginia’s lone offensive player on the First-Team. Corner Back Bryce Hall (nation’s best 20 pass break ups, two interceptions) and Safety Juan Thornhill (team leading five interceptions and 92 tackles) both made the First-Team for the defense.

Linebacker Chris Peace and return-man Joe Reed earned Third-Team Honors, and Quarterback Bryce Perkins, Running Back Jordan Ellis, and Tight End Evan Butts were named Honorable Mention.

In 2017, Zaccheaus was Second-Team All-ACC, Thornhill was named Third-Team All-ACC, and Peace and Reed were Honorable Mention All-ACC selections. Hall was first team Freshman All-ACC in 2016. This is the first time Perkins, Ellis, and Butts were honored.

A group of 46 media members and the 14 ACC head coaches vote on the teams. Clemson unsurprisingly led with 18 players across the three teams, followed by Boston College with 11.
