On Tuesday, we covered men’s basketball’s win over Towson and ran through some quick hitters about the team that should help get you up to speed. We also profiled the squad’s newest members as well as fan favorite Jack Salt. On the football end, we provided this week’s bowl watch, which, following football’s loss to Pittsburgh, has grown increasingly unclear.

In his preseason bracket, Andy Katz of NCAA.com selected UVA to make the elite eight, citing the team’s experience and the addition of Alabama transfer Braxton Key as some of the biggest factors.

Cornerback Bryce Hall has had a superb junior year thus far, catapulting him up many NFL Draft boards. That includes The Draft Network’s newest mock draft, which currently has him going 25th overall to the Oakland Raiders.

Yesterday, Sports Illustrated’s Jeremy Woo covered his top 60 prospects heading in to the college basketball season. Woo positioned UVA’s De’Andre Hunter at the tenth spot, noting how his defensive ability and “flashes of ball skills” make him a likely lottery pick. Duke freshmen Zion Williamson, R.J. Barrett, and Cam Reddish were ranked first, second, and third, respectively.

The Washington Redskins signed former Wahoo Luke Bowanko to their active roster on Monday. Bowanko, who has previously played for the Jaguars, Ravens, and Patriots, will play alongside fellow UVA alum Morgan Moses.
