It’s day three of the exam break and we are still going strong here at STL. Find out more about UVa star quarterback Bryce Perkins and see one of the newest men’s basketball tournament projections below!
How Perkins’ perseverance has transformed UVa’s offense (Richmond Times-Dispatch)
Virginia quarterback Bryce Perkins has had a record year, ranking second in total yardage in the ACC at 276.2 yards per game, despite having faced several injuries throughout the season. Perkins dislocated a finger in the conference opener against Louisville and, in the first quarter at Georgia Tech, hurt his left ankle. In both cases, he’s battled through the pain, continuing to produce on the offensive end. Now, in preparing for his team’s bowl game against South Carolina on December 29th, Perkins, for the first time in some time, expects to be at full strength.
Lunardi keeps Virginia as one seed in latest bracketology (ESPN)
ESPN’s Joe Lunardi placed UVa as the West region’s one seed in this week’s edition of bracketology, despite the Hoos moving down two spots in the AP Poll. Including Virginia, a total of eight ACC teams are projected to make the NCAA Tournament, second to only the Big Ten.
