Virginia stays constant at No. 4 in latest AP Poll

Michigan jumps into the top-5 as Gonzaga retains the top spot for the second straight week.

NCAA Basketball: Virginia at Maryland Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

The Virginia Cavaliers stayed put at No. 4 in this week’s AP Poll as they are one of 11 remaining undefeated teams in the country. Gonzaga retained the top spot, followed by Kansas at No. 2 and Duke at No. 3. The Michigan Wolverines round out the top five.

Virginia is coming off of back-to-back wins over top-25 teams as they took down now-No. 12 Wisconsin in the finals for the Battle 4 Atlantis and over now-No. 23 Maryland in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.

Nevada dropped one spot to No. 6 to make room for Michigan, with Tennessee, Auburn, Kentucky, and Michigan State completing the top 10. The Big Ten has a poll-high seven teams represented, followed by the ACC with five teams. The Big East (Villanova) and Pac-12 (Arizona State) each have one team.

The Hoos are back in action tonight against Morgan State. The game tips off at 7pm and will be streamed online by ACC Network Extra.
