ESPN College GameDay’s Jay Williams is picking Virginia to win it all this year

It was a unanimous selection among the ESPN College GameDay crew this morning -- the Virginia Cavaliers are going to beat the Virginia Tech Hokies. As Jay Bilas put it, it doesn’t matter that the Hoos’ offense might lapse from time to time, Virginia’s defense won’t let you score on them.

Greenberg also picks Virginia and it’s not just because of the defense. For former Virginia Tech head coach (and former Virginia assistant) Greenberg, the Hoos’ offense is underrated.

For Jay Williams, not only is he picking Virginia to win today. Not only is he picking the Hoos to make it back to the Final Four this year. But Williams is picking Virginia to win the whole dang thing!
