Kyle Guy included on Naismith Trophy Late Season Team

Guy one of 30 to be included on the Naismith Trophy short list.

NCAA Basketball: Virginia at Duke Rob Kinnan-USA TODAY Sports

The Naismith Trophy announced their late season team today, and Virginia fans will recognize one of the names as our very own Kyle Guy made the cut. Guy is one of four ACC players to make the narrowed watch list, joining Duke’s Marvin Bagley III and UNC’s Joel Berry and Luke Maye. Bagley, along with Oklahoma’s Trae Young, is a favorite for the award, which goes to the best player in college basketball.

On the season, Guy is averaging 15.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. He’s shooting 39% from three and 41% from the field to go with 30 steals.
