For the fourth straight week, Villanova, Virginia and Purdue remain atop the standings in the AP Poll. The trio of teams are a combined 67-4 on the season and have current win streaks of nine, 14, and 19 games, respectively.

The Hoos are now 22-1 on the season and hold an unblemished 11-0 record in the ACC after picking up a home win over Louisville and a road win over Syracuse this past week. Virginia picked up 16 first place votes this week, down one from last week’s 17.

Michigan State jumped into the No. 4 spot thanks to Duke’s embarrassing loss to the Big East’s Pitt, St. Johns. Xavier rounds out the top five.

The ACC has the most teams represented in this week’s poll with five with No. 2 Virginia, No. 9 Duke, No. 16 Clemson, No. 21 North Carolina, and No. 25 Miami. The Hoos head to Miami next Tuesday.
