WATCH: Highlights from No. 1 Virginia’s ACC tournament semifinal win over Clemson

Hoos held off the Tigers’ late push to earn a spot in the championship game.

The No. 1 Virginia Cavaliers will play No. 12 North Carolina tonight in the championship game of the ACC tournament at 8:30pm.

Before we get to that, let’s look back at the Cavaliers’ win over the Clemson Tigers in the semifinals.

Kyle Guy led the way with 15 points and Ty Jerome dished out 10 assists, but Jack Salt played well down the stretch. Salt went 4-for-5 from the field for eight points to go with eight rebounds and saved a ball from going out of bounds late in the game that led to an important bucket for the Hoos. Mamadi Diakite continued his recent trend of outstanding play with 10 points and four rebounds.
