Shortly after the No. 1 Virginia Cavaliers took down No. 12 North Carolina to win the school’s third ACC title in program history, the Hoos picked up a couple more accolades. Kyle Guy was named the 2018 New York Life ACC Tournament MVP and to the All-Tournament First Team, joined by teammate Devon Hall. Ty Jerome was named to the All-Tournament Second Team.
Guy led the Hoos in scoring in all three games in the tournament, scoring a combined 50 points on 20-for-41 shooting from the field (49%) and 9-for-17 from three (53%). Hall added 39 points, scoring at least 10 points in each game and going 9-for-10 from the free throw line.
Jerome had a quiet scoring day in the finals with 12 points on 4-for-14 shooting, but finished with six assists and one turnover. For the tournament, Jerome had 20 assists and three turnovers and scored a combined 29 points.

North Carolina put three players on the All-Tournament teams with Duke, Notre Dame, Clemson, and Boston College having one apiece.
